Garry McGuire

Garry McGuire is an accomplished American business executive, recognized for his vision and leadership in transforming companies. McGuire has applied his transformational leadership across various industries including Automotive, Insurance, Enterprise Software, and Media and Entertainment. McGuire has been a public company CEO and currently advises private equity firms on buyouts and turnarounds. As a recognized thought leader, Garry often speaks with government and private sector executives regarding issues such as internet safety, privacy issues, and cross-border global competitiveness. McGuire is an active advisor and board member of many public and private companies in the Auto-Tech, Luxury and Lifestyle, Art and SaaS sectors.

McGuire is the former chief operating officer of Ford Direct where he was responsible for the North American sales and marketing and dealer channel for Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

Automotive Software

McGuire held chief strategy officer and chief insurance officer roles with Telenav — a leading vehicle navigation software company. He has consulted with many global clients on connected car applications and revenue opportunities.

Embedded Insurance

McGuire is the chairman of the board for Motion Insurance and launched Novo Insurance. He actively advises OEM's on embedded software-based insurance programs.

Corporate M&A Advisory

McGuire is a senior advisor at Blackrock Advisors where he consults with chief executives and boards on mergers and acquisitions as well as spin-offs and divestitures. Garry has also run a corporate venture investment fund for Telenav Inc.

Media and Entertainment

McGuire is the former chief executive officer of RMG Networks, an airline media and entertainment company that he took public on Nasdaq after scaling the business from less than $2M in revenue when he joined.

Advertising and Media

McGuire is the former president of Gyro — a global advertising and media company that he helped grow and sell to a global advertising holding company. Garry is also the founder and ceo of Icon Internet Ventures — a luxury media publisher.
